From the day I first opened my gallery, Joe Brubaker has been a favorite among the artists I represent and I sell everything that I put in the gallery. This year's show in October is amazing and coincides with the release of his new book, "Somnambulists" which chronicles his career and creative process. Joe has pooled together friends and artists in the Bay Area to do an installation in the gallery called "Wicker Man", a large figure and installation which serves as an homage to art and the creative process. The collaborators include everyone from woodworkers to fabric artists. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

Brubaker's work is terrific. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I love Joe Brubaker's work. His work has a medieval, mythic quality that makes me long to hear the stories of the figures he brings to us. In fact, I wish I WAS Joe Brubaker. I'll be in Buenos Aires for the month of October. When will we see him again?
Come in the gallery and see work when you get back. Also, there is a new limited edition book called "Somnambulists" chronicling his work and process. I'll have copies in the gallery. Thanks for the comment!
